WBC light heavyweight (175 pounds) champion, Jean Pascal, of Canada, is expected to defend his crown against WBC interim titlist, Chad Dawson, of Connecticut, on June 19 in an HBO-televised matchup of gifted 27-year-olds, Dawson's promoter, Gary Shaw, told FanHouse.

"If Jean Pascal doesn't run from his mandatory fight with Chad Dawson -- and word on the street is that he's trying to run from it -- then that fight will happen on HBO," said Shaw.
