Henry "Razor" Sharp et Billy "The Kid" McDonnen sont deux boxeurs de Pittsburgh propulsés sous le feu des projecteurs grâce à leur rivalité ancestrale.

Trente ans plus tard, le promoteur de boxe Dante Slate Jr., y voyant une occasion de gagner beaucoup d'argent, leur fait une offre irrésistible : monter sur le ring pour obtenir leur revanche une bonne fois pour toutes.
Mais ils n'auront sans doute pas à attendre jusque-là : dès leurs retrouvailles, leur antagonisme tenace dégénère en un corps-à-corps involontairement comique qui se retrouve aussitôt sur la Toile. Dès lors, les médias sociaux s'emparent de cette rixe hors normes et en font un événement incontournable de la chaîne HBO. Désormais, rien ne garantit que Razor et The Kid puissent combattre sur le ring. Car il faudrait d'abord qu'ils survivent à l'entraînement…

The sudden social media frenzy transforms their local grudge match into a must-see HBO event. Now, if they can just survive the training, they may actually live to fight again.
